The wiring harness in the poor '76 needs a replacement... unfortunately most 'replica'/ direct replacement wiring harnesses only go to '74... I don't want to 'revert' back to that year of harness. I also don't have the time at the moment to rebuild mine from scratch.

I see arguments and experiences in both directions on every manufacturer.

Who has successfully installed one, which did you use, and what was good and bad about it?

Thanks...

I have only used (2) of the choices, (Ron Francis & Painless) so that is all I can speak from experience to.
-Ron Francis (WR-85 RETRO SERIES) was Great! Very Easy to install and well made.(Installed in '64 Chevelle)
-Painless (anything but!) (20110) I installed this harness in a 1963 Chevy II, and the harness was for a 1966+, but that wasn't the problem. The wiring they use was strange? it striped weird and heatshrink adhered to it strangely. I was not very happy with the quality in general.
