I can't help with the driveshaft question, but if you have a engine 67 or earlier, you cannot use the later trans, as a "bolt in". |

Can't say for sure, but I don't think the driveshaft will fit. It will probably need to be shortened. I'm pretty sure that Dart has a longer wheelbase. |

A '72 Dart driveshaft will not fit your '62 Lancer, no. It will have to be shortened. '62 Lancer wheelbase: 106.5" '72 Dart wheelbase: 111" |
