Why not have the trans guy get the parts? If he is that good he will have his own suppliers.

i have a 75 valiant 225 w/ A904. the drivetrain may be getting pulled for leak/ cosmetic purposes. while i have it out, i have access to a good transmission man for the right price. this would make for a complete refurbishment of the car. what master kits are preferred for the 904 by you folks who know, and why? |

I won't comment on full-rebuild kits, but I will say this: make life easy on yourself by getting the transmission pan and gasket described in this thread, and see that the trans is filled with a good brand of Dexron-VI fluid. |

I recommend transgo shift kits. I get all my transmision parts from either makco transmission in Florida or Oregon Performance transmission in....Oregon. Both have websites with online catalogs and ordering capabilities. |
