Anything is possible, but can be really difficult depending on your budget and level of skill... You would want a boost-referenced carb for sure. How much boost and what power level are you after?

Budget is around 4 and I'd be willing to push 5 and as for skill I'm a newbie at all this but I have sone professional help as well. I want to push some good power out of it... 450hp? Maybe 5 lbs of boost minimum. This is my first build ever

450 HP is a lot more than you think it is. In a Slant 6 Dart (light compared to new cars) that will get you into the 11s. For your first build ever, I would use a Holley 500 2bbl for simplicity of tuning, AND read everything you can about boost-referenced carbs. Shoot for 5-7 psi and 250-300 HP and you will go fast and enjoy it. What is the car and do you have the engine (block and head) built already?

Best wishes,

Lou

I appreciate the help. I'm going to attempt to build up a 86 D150. Once I pull the head I'll get an idea...
