Matt, Over on .com you stated you were having a problem with you boost timing master. I posted this question over there, but no more responsis to the thread. What is the problem? I am having a problem with mine also. When I connect my BTM between the distributer and the MSD 6, my tach reads a lot higher RPM and is very eratic. Have you fixed your problem yet? |

I called MSD, and they said I need a tach adapter. Doesn't make sense to me. My tach is plugged into the MSD 6a tach terminal, and works fine. It is only when I connect the BTM between the distributer and the 6a box, that I have a problem. It is like the BTM is sending extra pulses to the 6a box. I am going to look at the input and output signals of everything, with a scope. I was just wondering if Matt was having the same or different problem. I do have a 4 channel Digital scope, but have never used it on an MSD, so don't know what the signals should look like. Will be a learning experience. |

Sorry, can't answer - I haven't been able to get mine working yet, at all. |
