Is anyone interested in making a laser-printed glove box for these models? All you can buy is the '63 box, which is folded, not molded. You have to drill out the dash to install it.

Thanks.

I'm the one in the link as "66dvert" over on the other forum

they are not laser printer or even 3d printed(though I have thought about it for 3dprinting) Casting a good part was near impossible due to the surface tension and sticking to the inner and outer silicone mold even after multiple coats of mold release agent.

I am in the process of making them right now out of ABS. These simple boxes "should" be easy, but they are not! I can make a lot of other parts like kick panels, top convertible rear side panel pieces a lot easier than this "simple box" The vacu-forming process there are a few issued to deal with that I am having a bit of trouble fixing to my satisfaction. Can I make the boxes? Yes for sure is it as good as I would like? NO! I'm currently working on the webbing issue and having to go to a thicker ABS sheet to get a good draw. I will post on both sites after I am sure I can do a run of good (to my satisfaction) glove boxes.

Not all of us are on Fecebook; will you please consider hosting your pics somewhere that doesn't require membership/log-in?

(matter of fact, I have fecebook.com blocked at my network router and with 127.0.0.1 redirects in my /hosts file; I don't want their grubby little mits anywhere near my ѕhit.)
