| Post subject: | Fuel pump noise |
I have fitted a new fuel pump to my slant 6. After the engine has been running for about 10 minutes I hear a noise from the fuel pump - a 'tinny' sound. Any ideas why the noise? Thanks |

Could be because current-production pumps are poorly/cheaply made and don't have the follower spring to keep the arm in contact with the cam. |
