I live in Australia and we were lucky to get the 1961 and 62 Valiants - only the 4 door sedans.

It would be great if we could get some feedback on the history of the marque of these years from our USA 'oldies'. Maybe a few photos from the production line or information from someone who worked on one of the many production lines (gee they would be long in the tooth now!).

I reckon there would be a lot of history/knowledge out there and it would be interesting. For example, I was told that on one of the production lines (perhaps Detroit) the Valiants going to Florida had a piece of cardboard on the windscreen saying Florida so they were not fitted with a heater (not sute if this is true though).

Lets get some posts on the history of the 60, 61 and 62 Valiants before we fall of the perch.
