All my fuses are good took the cluster out and don't see any suspects. I'm lost here maybe it's just the dimmer switch?
1980 D150

Not the dimmer. That's headlights only. Start with a review of the wiring diagram.

I agree with Josh. Start by reviewing the wiring diagram. My off-the-cuff and over-the-internet preliminary diagnosis is either (a) burnt out bulbs in the parking lights, (b) bad grounds to the parking lights, (c) a faulty bulkhead connector, or (d) a faulty headlamp switch.

I would think the switch because it's what turns them on it would not let me turn it to where the lights were brightest before this but one random day they all worked then the same night nothing.

You're welcome to guess and shotgun parts at the truck, but with a wiring diagram and a test light you're likely to save time and money.

Wait, STOP! Your question is very vague. What happens when you turn the lights to the first click, what's lit, the parking lights?
Now turn the headlights on and the Parking lights go out, yes?
Mopar does things like that, at least my A-100 and 66-300 work that way. Good Luck

Yes, in the 60s Mopar turned the parking lots off when the headlights turned on. But by 1980 the parking lights stayed on when the headlamps turned on. I forget the exact year when the change happened, but it was early 70s or late 60s.

The best thing to do is get a test light and a wiring diagram and start troubleshooting.

First click no lights second click headlights. I'll have to order another manual for the truck but Turn signals work and hazards too also If I jump 12v to the fuse for the gauges; all park lights and gauges light up but they are all dim.

Did you try replacing the fuse? I have had one of the round glass type fuses to blow in the area you can't see next to the cup. I could still see the filament and it appeared unblown. A test light to each side of the fuse (installed) should tell the tale. If you have no power to either side, you will need to trace the wires and test before and after the switch. Good luck.

1980 D150 and no power confirmed before and after fuse change. Changed once before and solved but went out again. And no luck seconded time around which got me me here

No update just same spot. When I jump 12v to the fuse the cluster lights and park lights come on but they are super dim cam barely tell they're on. Anyone know a part number for the dimmer switch?

I believe 1968 when side marker lights and amber were mandated. Yes 1967 and older front parking lights went off when headlights were burning; on US built cars, imports I can't say.

Both parking lights burning dim light could perhaps be caused by some kind of series back feed, and or bad ground path.

You need to get a test light and start tracing front parking light circuit. Park lights use a two filament bulb, one bright for directional signal, the other dimmer for parking. You will probably find some corrosion some where be it bulb socket, bulkhead connector, and or grounding attachment. Some of these lamp holders ground via its attachment screw to body of car, another place to find corrosion.

I've had the light switch contacts corroded and fried so badly inside that weird things happen, especially if there are water leaks / condensation inside the cab. Weakly lighted filaments are a corrosion/resistance warning flag. Also, that switch is the one thing that mechanically gets used a lot, so a primary point of failure. If it isn't too hard to get the switch out, I'd try taking a look at the switch & connector spades. (K.I.S.S. principle.) :|
