Which carb adapter do I need for a 350cfm Holley 2 barrel carb to a slant six super intake? |

A Mr. gasket #1937 flipped upside down to make the conversion, a gasket for both carbs, some RTV sealant doesn't hurt especially the way the adapter bolts to manifold sit in the adapter can make a nice path for a leak if not gooped.... Also a word of advise one of the outboard holes sits over the manifold and you will have to insert the bolt that will be your carb stud into it before mounting the adaptor... failing to do so will require you to remove it and do it over again.... I made mine out of a piece of billet aluminum and hogged out the intake manifold so the throttle bores lined up perfectly. It took an afternoon with a drill press and a dremel. I later used a carb heater for a Ford dump truck for winter driving. It's been rock solid for 5 years. |
