I was on the poly band wagon for awhile, they look nice, pretty colors, transmit more noise/vibration, cost more, resist movement of something that doesn't move much in the first place and hasn't been a problem moving any amount with OEM style rubber, and I save the best for last, they completely disintegrate without notice for reasons completely unexplained or expected, like sunlight, ozone, grease/oil, wear, heat, etc you name it, manufacturers give one the typical tilted head dog look when you ask them why the sudden failures with poly, usually at non optimal time.
