So, is there any way to put a slant into a car in place of V8 without swapping k-frame?

Working on a 72 Dart here. I might have access to a 69 k frame, but the front end/brakes/torsion bars/bushings/ALIGNMENT are all recently done on the V8 set up. The 318 is a quitter, so that leads to the original question.

If you are careful, you can pull the torsion bars, unbolt the lower control arm, pittman arm, and steering gearbox from the 318 k frame, drop it, and reinstall a slant k frame. Reinstall everything and the alignment should still be pretty close.
