I just cleaned and rebuilt my holley 1945 non feedback carb on my D-150 after finding it plugged with charcoal canister material. Anyone know where the mechanical power valve adjusting screw should be set at? Right now the screw tip contacts the stop at about 1/2 throttle. I have the 86 service manual and it shows the screw on the carb, but no adjustment specs. Maybe I'm missing it somehow. I'm going to back the screw out some and drive it. Maybe to 3/4 throttle not sure. Thanks. |
