I have the later spool type mounts on my slant six. What is the proper torque spec for those bolts? Now that I have my major vibration in the past, I'm noticing some other vibration. I simply tightened them down pretty good, didn't really pay attention to torque spec, maybe they're too tight?

What do other spool type owners do? My FSM is for my '67, so it doesn't describe spool type mounts.

The torque spec is 75 ft lbs, that being said, since I use a clutch I've hammered the bolt and nut on launches and had them loosen up slightly, and even had it happen on poly bushings... so I torque by hand to be very tight but not enough to tweak or bend the ears on the K.

OK, that is helpful. I very likely have torqued them too tight (just knowing me). Not sure if I compressed the ears, but that is something I can easily check visually, back them off a bit to see. Great stuff.
