Anyone ever see someone run a slant six in a C-body at the track? THAT would be sick!

It's hard to believe that they actually installed /6's in such huge cars. I can't remember if it's technically a "C-body" or not, but I used to work on a '60 Plymouth full size for someone, it was a 225. It was actually way better to drive than a VW bug or Ford Pinto as far as the ability to get out of its own way! Of course those huge fins really enhanced directional stability, though I always wished it had rudders on the back of them! I wonder what the power:weight ratio was...

By the way, thanks Doc for directing me to those EXCELLENT tech articles. I didn't see them when I first got here, I connected to the forum by link. And thanks for getting me to thinking again about messing with the distributor curve. That's something I've just sort of stuck with and hoped it was close since I screwed everything together 8 years ago. I would like to hear some more feedback on what works good for others with a mildly built /6 in the timing curve dept.

OK, I'll just make up a ficticious car and time for "S&G"...

It's a '69 Fury I, took out the 225 and installed a 170 blown on nitro with a 5.13:1 gear. Runs 16.09@72 mph......
