Hellwig or Hotchkiss front sway bar? trying to figure out if one is better than the other to go with. Will be used on a daily driver. Thread I had going on suspension for my 69 Plymouth valiant was lost when site crashed. So thanks again for the help. Thanks, Austin |

Both of those are good choices. I just put the Hellwig on my 68 Dart and had to do a little mount modification/shimming to get things lined up perfectly, but otherwise it worked fine. Not nearly as much work as the old Addco bars. 11lbs is pretty light too. I imagine the Hotchkis is better since it costs more, and they do make nice stuff. Firmfeel.com is another very good option. If you want to not mess around with mounts and you have the $$, then I would think Firmfeel and Hotchkis are likely better than Hellwig. Lou |

It seems that THe Hotchkis Sway bar is only for 67-up A Bodies - What would work fr a 64? Greg |

Yes, I think Hotchkis has only 67-up. Not sure about Hellwig. Firmfeel(.com) has some nice tubular systems now and they really know their stuff and make nice parts. Lou |

If i can get the coin for it i will go with firm feel. Hellwig has em for 63-66 a's but might need some futzing with to get it set up. Addco bar is fine Addco bar endlinks are fine (use urethane) Addco mounting to K member sucks. (but the urethane bushings are good) But you can upgrade that yourself.......... |

Whatever kit you get should have the tabs included to weld or bolt on. I suggest modifying those yourself. If not included (I have never seen this), then I would make your own from plate or notched square box tubing. It will likely take as much to modify anything you buy than to set it up right from scratch, at least for those tabs. Lou |
