Restoring my 1970 d100 truck with the factory slant 6 in it and this forum has been a great help in refreshing the engine.
Next on my list to fill some time will be to rebuild the carb; it is a single barrel manual choke carb; the metal tag on the carb reads

Is this likely the original carb for my truck?
Can anyone suggest where I might find a rebuild kit for this carb? I am having a heck of a time finding one through my regular part sources.

4838s is a Carter BBS for a '70 Dodge truck with 225 engine and manual transmission, so yes, it could be the original carb.
