does this transmission only fit vans, or will it work in a valiant? mymoparparts only gives info back to 1984, long after the valiant was gone.

i've got the chance to snag one, don't have an immediate need, but it is rebuilt and a reasonable price.

edit: yes, i have confirmed it is an A904. but i don't know about tailshaft length, etc.
