I realize that this question has probably been asked many times before, but here we go again: what brand is the best head gasket for a basically stock street engine? Also, I have recurring nightmares about snapping off a head bolt in a 54 year old engine, as anyone experienced such a disaster? Thanks in advance for help. |

Fel-Pro will be great in that application. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 94&jsn=472 I wouldn't worry about snapping a head bolt... They have been bathed in oil for 54 years.. unless it was sitting outside with no valve cover or something... Should be okay. Greg |
