Attention all Slant 6ers! (UPDATED June 8 - we have THREE races, Fri, Sat, Sun! See more below) We will have a fully featured and flabbergasted race weekend at MotorMile Dragway in Fairlawn, VA on June 15-17 (Fri/Sat/Sun), 2018. All three days will 1/8th Mile Slant 6 points racing. Gates open at 6 PM Friday, and 11 AM both Saturday and Sunday. Time runs start around 7 PM Friday, 12:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday, then racing. $10 at the gate + $30 race entry. UPDATE: Race on Rriday June 15. Gates open 6 PM, time runs 7 PM til around 11 PM. $10 at the gate + $15 to race. Track info: Motormiledragway.com Race Coordinator and Info Droid: Lou Madsen (PM = Dart270 on this site; phone/text = 540-818-8712) Camping is allowed at the track and there are showers (UPDATE: may be out of order, but Lou's house is 20 min) and power hook ups. Yep, it'll be down to the wire for the Mason-Dixon Spring Race, but I will definitely be there for the Fairlawn Race with my 65 Belvedere I. -Matt |

65 Valiant won't be ready. New motor for the 66 Valiant, same thing. Going to try and do a repair on last years engine. Should know in a couple of days, if it is possible to get done in time. If so I'll try to make it. |

66 Valiant is running. Need to get in a test session. Hopefully, it will be OK, for MM. Need to do some upkeep on my truck. |

With the price of gas rising, I need to try and get the fuel mileage better, than 8.6 mpg. Boy, I sure miss my Toyota truck.
