Anyone know where I can find a replacement manifold vacuum takeoff fitting/port? I have it as PN 4094 872 in my 1979 parts book. Appears to have a 5/8 diameter thread and at least three vacuum line connections—one to brake booster, one to cabin and one other. It’s the other one that the PO broke off and replaced with a piece of brake line held in by some sort of (now-failed) sealant, causing a vacuum leak. Thanks in advance.

maybe go to Lowes, from the plumbing-hardware section, a short pipe connector, a couple of T's and three barbed fittings, you have a workable vacuum tree, much more robust than the fragile pot metal OE vacuum tree.

if you want something more standard in appearance, at e bay for not much money

Update on this—went with a 3/8 barb x 3/8 MIP brass adapter for the brake booster vacuum source. This knocked out the small vacuum line to the heater control box but my manifold has a second port for some long-disconnected sensor so I’m going to try a 1/4 barb x 3/8 MIP in that spot to feed the heater box.

If your two adapter fix doesn't work right, I think I have one of these fittings on my 82 D150 that I will not be using. Shoot me a PM if you wish to discuss.

Is this the cause of your hissing from the other int/exh manifold thread?? Could very well be.

Thanks Lou. Turns out the primary source of hissing was from an EGR block-off that was first loose and later cracked. I replaced that and the car runs much better--although I still suspect a small leak at the vacuum ports on the #6 intake runner.
