I'm getting power into my ICM but no power out and the only thing I can think of is I might be using the wrong trigger feed ( brown wire from the original coil) . Also the C connection on the ICM is showing hot with key on . Any advice is welcome . |

I guess first, tell us what you retrofitted the duster to...(1972 would have been points), did you install a chrysler 4 or 5 pin ECM (what model?), or is it an HEI conversion. |

Sorry I guess I should fill in the blanks , I'm converting my 72 Duster to hei ignition using a Mopar electronic distributor , FD478 coil and D1906 ICM . I have power going into the ICM but nothing coming out key on or cranking .I've bypassed the ballast by connecting the 2 sides together and using the brown wire from the old coil as my trigger . Charrlie S has offered me a phone call to walk me through the process but I think I'm going to have the ICM checked first unless someone has another suggestion .
or is it an HEI conversion. |
