My current Dash Pad is all cracked up. Is it possible to replace the dash pad? Does someone repop the pad? Help me out. |

Yes, if it's like the typical chrysler dash pad, then at the upper rim of the sheetmetal body of the dashboard will be a series of about 5 even spaced studs with a stamped sheet metal trim lock nut (I think on the late cars it's a 7/16" socket to get them...and a couple wobblies if you leave the heater controls and instrument cluster in place... Unsure about who supports the pre-67 vehicles, but typically they carry a vinyl/plastic 'cap' that goes over the cracked pad in lieu of full replacement. |
