Can anyone tell me the differance between the throttle pressure and line presure adjustment screws in a A904? ( 1986) I am thinking throtle pressure is when it shifts and line pressure is working pressure to the valves and servoes?? Is this a correct analysis? And does higher line pressure mean higher throttle pressure is required to shift at the same rpm? And vice versa? |

Throttle pressure balances itself against the pressure regulated by the governor. |

So . If l adjust the govenor pressure or change the diff gears ( currently 2/45s ) that will change the govenor pressure hence changeing the rpm the trany will shift at.. at wot. |

Line pressure is set with an adjuster on the valve body. Throttle pressure is set with the kickdown linkage. |
