Can anyone tell me the differance between the throttle pressure and line presure adjustment screws in a A904? ( 1986) I am thinking throtle pressure is when it shifts and line pressure is working pressure to the valves and servoes?? Is this a correct analysis? And does higher line pressure mean higher throttle pressure is required to shift at the same rpm? And vice versa?

Throttle pressure balances itself against the pressure regulated by the governor.

So
. If l adjust the govenor pressure or change the diff gears ( currently 2/45s ) that will change the govenor pressure hence changeing the rpm the trany will shift at.. at wot.

Line pressure is set with an adjuster on the valve body. Throttle pressure is set with the kickdown linkage.
