Im (trying) running a Clifford 4bbl with a 390 holley. The slant cable is kind of to long so I was wondering what some of you guys are using. |

I installed Summit throttle cable and trans kickdown kits when I upgraded to a Super Six with a Motorcraft 2150 carburetor. These are universal, trim to length kits and work really well for me. |

IDK what car you are using you slant in, but on my Dart and Barracuda and soon my 64 Valiant, I used a V8 throttle cable when I went to Super Six with a 2100 Motorcraft...I suspect the same cable should work for a 4bbl. sb |

It is. The 1bbl cable is miles too long. It will work with a 2bbl super six, but can get "bindy" because it is folded a lot to fit into the short throw to the 2bbl. Again, I have never run a 4bbl. I have run a 2bbl in both situations above. sb |

Thanks mopar_nocar. Its in a 67 Dart. I turned the carb the 90* yesterday so its lined the same as the firewall not the engine I think the cable will fit this way. If not Ill try the V8 or lokar if necessary. |
