Have a 1982 Dodge Ram d150 miser with the slant 6 (super 6) and I’m tryinG to Get my water temperature gauge to work and I put a new temp sending unit and is not reading and when put a test light on the wire it holds steady current then begins to flash or intermite a few seconds later, wanted to know is this wire supposed to do this? It’s only one wire it’s a orange wire. Also I try to fix my oil pressure gauge and the one wire does the same thing on the oil pressure plug I have red wire that is constant hot and blue wire that was for the electronic choke which I don’t have and a white wire that is doing the same thing as my water temperature wire it come on with a constant current and then a few seconds later it starts flashing or intermitting on a test light. So does These wires suppose to do this or should This be a constant hot wire? |
