I just ordered a set of Dutra Duals from Aussiespeed and I was curious what people do as far as what exhaust options (size, mufflers, true Duals with xpipe, y pipe to single?) also, do most people just bolt them on and drive to the exhaust shop open headers to have them make something or do people do any temporary downpipe solutions for driving to the muffler shop? Seems like a dumb question, but I’ve never driven a car open headers before.

If you can't tow it you better get some down pipes made. The way they dump out, you are going to damage some part of the fenderwell wiring or steering system. I guess pipes are what you would be happy with, x pipe should help if done right or you could use a flowmaster 2 into 1 collector up front and then a large 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 pipe out the back and a muffler..

I have driven to the exhaust shop with open manifolds...
Light throttle only and tend to shut off the engine at stop lights.
Windows down because you will get a lot of exhaust fumes in the cab.

Doc, I get the feeling you've done more than just drive to the exhaust shop with open manifolds... hahaha
