Hello all! I have been having a problem recently with my truck. I live in a small community where my commute to work every day is about 15 mins each way (nothing over 60mph typically). Each morning when I take off from home my truck starts right up normally and I have no issues whatsoever. Anyways, to make a long story short my truck sometimes stumbles when I slow down to a stop or to make a turn. Inconveniently sometimes it’s at stoplights.
Also when I take off after I restart the truck I need to feather the throttle. Once I get into the higher RPMs it runs completely fine. When it’s running rough or I feather the throttle there’s a strong smell like the engine is running rich. I’ve replaced the entire distributor, ignition coil and ran multiple cycles of gas through it/Seafoam and am currently on rebuilding the carb as I’m writing this... Anybody ever have this happen to them? Seems strange that one minute it’ll be fine and the next it runs like crap...
