New member here from Calgary (I think there might be an Alberta member or two here!) Just picked up my first slant 6 and first older Mopar since my 76 Volare back when I was a kid. It's rough but suits my purpose. And for $250 can't complain. It's a 1960 Valiant V200 with a 65 225 manual 3-speed and a spare 904 in the trunk. Pics for attention.

I will be up front here-it is really rough. The floor under the go pedal is rusted though, the rear fenders are rusted through and the spare tire well has been hacked out and has been covered by plywood. I have no visions about restoring the car to factory but the goal is to get it roadworthy so I can drive it. The plan is to get it ready for next years Great Beater Challenge where you give cars one last shot at glory. https://greatbeaterchallenge.com/ We actually did drag this car from a junkyard-it deserves a better fate than the crusher. |

Hopefully someone here and living within a day or two drive of Calgary has a good used windshield for sale (cheap!) as the current one has a hole you can put your hand through. |
