A friend of mine bought the old AHRA a couple years ago and hss been raising it from the dead. He's putting on a "Match Race Madness" deal at the Humboldt, Iowa track in July. I tossed a pic of my car up on the AHRA Facebook page and got in. I'm racing an '03 4.6/5 speed Mach 1 heads-up, best of 3. Should be a ton of fun.

Dallas posted a picture of the car on the track FB page this morning. Someone already recognized the car from Kearney.

It's roughly 7 hours from my shop. It's about an hour or so northwest of Mike Evans.

My dad was born and grew up in Bode and Bradgate, just north of Humbolt. I will try to get down there, only a three hour drive from here. |
