wouldnt fit my 2 1/2" rear end housing
sounds like you have a 7 1/4 rear end, all of the rear sway bars that I have seen are made for the
larger axel tubes used on the 8 1/4 and 8 3/4
if you really want to run the rear sway bay on a 7 1/4,,, have a fabricator or machine shop make you
2 cylindrical tube spacers that would bring your existing axel tubes up to the required diameter.
Then split the spacer tubes so they can be fitted to the axel, weld them in place and move forward with the
rear sway bar install.
and I have heard that one of the faults in the 7 1/4 is that it has a relatively small lube chamber, so if you plan to
do spirited driving with one, be sure to use a high quality differential oil and keep it serviced.
