Well, for starters, there is no direct conversion between the early cable shift and the later transmissions. You would need to get a shifter. Then there is the issue with the crank/torque converter hub, 68 and later are larger than the earlier ones. jus sayin. |

This does sound like some B & T issues I have seen.Just did it and the vibration went away.. I can’t thank you enough! Does anyone make a conversion to a u joint? Or do I need to change to a slip yoke tranny? Thank you again! |
