| Post subject: | What exactly is our Racing Series called? |
Is it still SSRN, Slant Six Racing News, even though SSRN is no longer published? Is it just SSR, Slant Six Racing? Maybe we should come up with an appropriate name since we have rules, keep records, and promote events. It just seems to be a grey area. |

I call it the Slant Six Racing Series. We do not have an official name beyond Slant Six Racing. We can discuss this at races and at the banquet next year, and on this site. There was a movement to create a more catchy name a few years back. I am all for reviving that. Lou |

here are a coupleNASCAR National Association for Slant Car Auto Racing That acronym has a lot of history behind it and the way that series is being ran, I think the name will revert back to the public domain shortly. USSR United Slant Six Racers That acronym also has a lot of history behind it and may be available now,, however it is likely that there are legacy issues that would need an explaination.

"Dumb Old Guys With Too Much Money" Sadly, I'd only qualify for The "DOG" half of that.  I'm out of the area of course, so no "dog" in this race, but that "Slant Six Series" sounds pretty good to me (other than pronunciation a bit like the sound of a tire going flat). |

You ain't out of the area! Just git a couple of them Slant 6 fellers together out there & get a race on the calendar! Killer Bees have had some real struggles the last few years, but you'll come back!!From what I've seen, yer "dog" races purdy good!
