Ok folks, trying to tackle a "new" problem on this '66 Valiant. When I bought the car some time ago, someone prior had already butchered the HVAC controls. They robbed the AC compressor, mussed up the HVAC controller wiring; fun stuff. So years later I'm actually trying to fix it. I've got a new vacuum modulator, and have some of the wiring already hooked up, but I have 2 stray wires and 3 available connectors?? I've uploaded some pictures. There is 1 light grey, and 1 dark grey. Picture 1: https://imgur.com/vA4rjoi Picture 2: https://imgur.com/TRbGLeN The light grey one is a hot-wire with the key on. The dark grey one with the black connector is not. The light grey wire is cut, but as you can see in picture 2 goes up to a connector and becomes a black wire with a white stripe on it. You can see the 3 male connectors available on the vacuum modulator in both pictures. I have tried looking at the 1966 Valiant wiring diagrams, and can't seem to find anything pertaining to the HVAC. Can anyone help me get these last few wires nipped in the bud? |

I was stumbling along my Mopar web site and found this for you. It's a 1966 Dart and Coronet service manual. 4th one down in the queue. The last section is on A/C. About page 702. Hope it helps. http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=109 |
