| Post subject: | Manifold stud kit |
Hey guys. I just painted my intake and exhaust manifold for my slant 6. There is a stud kit on Ebay have noticed, I thought I'd see what everyone prefers these days. The "sticky" under FAQ didn't work. What's the best route for bolting everything up (budget friendly helps ). thanks, Chris |

Make sure the exhaust manifold is in good shape (no cracks, no warp where it meets the head, the exhaust pipe, and the intake manifold). If you need a replacement exhaust manifold, shop carefully; see here. Also note it is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions, and see this thread for hardware info and here for install tips. |

Thanks. I'll check out the link later ( I have homework to do, yuck). I actually bought a new old stock exhaust manifold that was military surplus! |
