I've now converted two early-60s A-bodies to larger wheels, so I had a stack of these 13", 5x4" wheels that no one wants.

A buddy of mine was scrapping an '03 Pontiac Vibe with a blown engine. He wanted to save the 5x100mm alloy wheels for another buddy of ours who drives a Corolla, but the Vibe needed shoes on it for the scrapper to come pick it up.

Well, it turns out that 5x101.6 is close enough to 5x100 that you can get them on with a hammer. (Your experience may vary, based on relative lug stud diameter.) So I gave up four of my old wheels that still had mostly-airtight rubber on them for this noble cause. Mission Accomplished! Now I only have about half as many of these things to throw away.

Such is always the case, and cause for never throwing anything away....

And when I do, I find a use for it a week or month later...

I've got some ideas for what to do with the rest. Wheelbarrow or hand cart wheels, spools for air or water hoses... if I ever get more of those "round tuits" that are in such short supply.

It would be hilarious to use these for the go-kart/paddock utility vehicle I'm planning to build for Lemons races, but I think they would be way too big for that.

If you need to erect fence posts in solid rock these can help. You can weld some rebar to the wheel and pour cement over the wheel. Around my neighborhood you could then pile rocks along the fence row and you won't see that a wheel is cemented to the rock.
