The Knoxville race is just a little over two weeks away, so... Let's start a Roll Call!! :mrgreen:

I'll start with a list of the "Usual Suspects" and we can go from there.
I just went through the last 5 years and added the names of folks who attended. Let me know your intentions and I'll update the list.

This is a Friday/Saturday 1/8 mile race.

Gary Bruner - 64 Valiant - CONFIRMED
Isaiah Bruner - Funny Truck D50 (Heads Up Grudge Match w/Rob Simmons :twisted: ) - CONFIRMED
Jack Everhardt Jr. - 75 Dart - CONFIRMED
Jack Everhardt III - 88 D150 - CONFIRMED
Rob Simmons - 73 Duster (Heads Up Grudge Match w/Isaiah Bruner :twisted: ) - CONFIRMED
Lou Madsen - 62 Valiant - CONFIRMED
Brad and Brett Padgett - 1963 Dart 270 (The White Rat) - CONFIRMED
Rodney Hargis - 62 Lancer - CONFIRMED
Norm Foster - 69 Dart - CONFIRMED
Joe Nelson - 65 Valiant - Saturday
Lukus Bruner - Slanted Dakota II or 64 Dart - Probably
Meril Bruner - He'll dig up Sumthin’

Glad you will be there, Brad! Will be great to meet you.

Racing should cost about $30-40/day for entry and race fees. Probably $30. We will run the 2nd Motormile (VA) makeup race and the purse for that will be $200.

There are a bunch of hotels in Clinton (N - NE side of Knoxville) that are about 12 mi away and quite reasonable. I will probably camp at the track, but could be coaxed (haha) into sharing a hotel room.

Thanks for the info Lou. It will be great to meet you and Rob and some of the other guys as well. I hope some more people commit to this one.

I can vouch for Lou... He's a purdy good roommate... :wink:

You can probably count on most of the Bruners showing up. Lukus might be on the road. He drives a truck now. Isaiah will be there in Meril's Funny Truck and Meril will likely pull some nice hidden gem out of his hat to play with. Gary will likely drive his stock 64 Valiant. The Bruners don't get on the forum much.

Rodney Hargis will probably be there. Again, not on the forum.

Larry Chesney should be there. He's tied purdy tight to the Bruners.

The Jacks Everhardt are gunning for the Championship, so they will surely be there.

We'll have ourselves a Hoot in the Holler fer sher! :wink:

I'm going to try and make it up. Not as a racer, but as pit crew for a new slanter from Florida. Not definate, yet, but that is the game plan.
