Has anyone done a coil over conversion on an A body before? I found upper control arms for coil overs and was just wondering if it's any better than sticking with torsion bars.

I have a Duster in my shop that is getting a coil over front suspension. There are some advantages to doing this but it is a lot of time and money to do right.

One advantage to a coil over suspension is that it fres-up a lot of room for headers and exhaust pipes. ( no T. bars in the way) Slants only get 1/2 the advantage here, seeing we don't have to get pipes down the passenger side of the engine bay.

The coil-over system is also lighter then a factory suspension system.
This is a racecar only modification in my mind.
