Last year I redid my brakes too, and they gave me a set of wheel cylinders for the 9" drums and they were nothing like my 10" drum cylinders. I went back, and asked they guy went "Oh, you have the 'Heavy Duty' brake setup...."
Jeez...

Does anyone know what type of wheel cylinder to use on rear 9 in. drums for a 71' Scamp? I got a pair from the local auto parts store, but the spacing between mounting holes is too big. They say the same part # is for all 69-80 mopars, yadda yadda yadda. I thought I'd ask the pros. Any suggestions? |

Hmm, they may of given you one for 10/11" brakes? All the 9" ones are the same I believe, the 10/11" ones are bigger. |

I know that the ones on the rear of my 61 Valiant parts car are the same as a 70 Dodge Dart so Im guessing that they must be pretty much the same on all 9 inch drum rear brakes.Good luck. |
