Two action packed slant 6 races for the historic Mo-Kan Dragway, Asbury, MO.
1/8 mile April 3rd. Gates open at 6 PM. Fun run night for the track so the 1/8th mile race will be when we are ready. $20 at the gate. Our long time sponsor has decided to not put up the prize money so it's $20 each to enter the slant race. Money will be split 75% 1st and 25% 2nd.
1/4 mile April 4th. Gates open at 10 AM. Race will be after 1 PM. $20 at the gate. $20 to enter the assault on the 1320 slant 6 race. Same deal 75% 1st and 25% 2nd.
Overnight camping allowed, just don't act like Chevy guys.
Host hotel is the restored Little Brick Inn, Baxter Springs,KS. 620-304-2222 Mo-Kan rate of $89.49. It takes the same time to get to the track from this hotel as it does from the Joplin hotels. They have a car museum that may have all MoPars for event weekend. The owners have renovated a city block with the hotel, restaurant and car museum.

Sounds good. Me and isiah will be there. Mistie will be coming also she might race 1 day of it not sure yet but if she does means I dont get to either way be 2 of us as long as nothing happens before then.

I just saw on Mokans website that they are canceling all events until April the 11th it said the mopar and ford events would be rescheduled and the cancellation could end early but as of now the events are canceled according to what I just read

That's right, it's postponed.

Don't count on anything early as we have averaged 1 inch of rain per week since the first of the year and we are under a flood watch for tonight and tomorrow.

Mo-Kan just can't catch a break.

41 and Coles County posted tonight they are shut down until further notice too. 66 never runs until late April so they may be OK.

We'll all just hunker down & work on our junk while practicing social distancing...

Once we can crawl back out of our respective holes, we'll figure out what we wanna do.

It sorta reminds me of the "Brown Outs" in Iraq... Hunker down, cover up and wait...

I was informed that the track just updated the schedule with MoPar's Invade Mo-Kan May 30th 2020.
