Hello All.
Bought a rebuilt and never ran 225 a few weeks ago. It has 4 oddball 3/8" push rods in it. Double checking here... they're supposed to be 5/16"? They have the same part number MPR-152.
Thanks

Yes flat tappet / mechanical cam slants should have 5/32"R Or 5/16" ΓΈ balls and cups on the push rods.

An easy way to check is to pull a lifter and see if those 3/8 ball ends seat properly in the lifter cup... I would think not.

Sorry. Yes, it's a mechanical lifter, drool era head. all the rest measure 5/16". Be sure to check everything on these old "rebuilds". #1 rod cap was backwards.
