I was going to replace just the front half of my strut rod bushings to get rid of some of the extra play. The replacements from NAPA was a one piece bushing? It is smaller on one end than the other, is it supposed to replace both halves and install from the front so the LCA doesn't have to be removed? Or did I get a wrong part? Has anyone seen this type of bushing? Cecil |

...go back and see if they can get you the two-piece, it's a better setup. MOOG comes to mind. I don't know what NAPA sells, but it may be the same stuff. Anybody know a part #? 'I hear you' on just replacing the front half ![]() "DW" |

The MOOG two piece bushings are very nice - metal inserts and big beefy rubber. I've never seen a one piece one that I thought was worth anything, since they have all been 100% rubber. Lou |

While the original bushings are a 1 piece design, I don't have any regrets about using 2 piece poly ones from Energy Suspension on my Dart. |

It used to be the moog ones with the steel inserts were called 'hi perf' or something like that. the std ones were not nearly as well designed. |

Cecil, The Moog Part number for the strut rod bushing is K-7068. They are $24.67 at Central Auto parts. John |
