Doesn’t the Super Six exhaust manifold have a slightly larger outlet than others? Everything else is the same, right? I need to sort through some things and need to know what I’m looking for...

I got the article to open finally...

Disregard.... got my answers....

Yeah I read somewhere that it is, either 2-1/8 or 2-1/4 where the regular one is something like 1-7/8 ish. But who's to say that the stack you have, is still as was assembled together from day 1? Easily could have been swapped around over the years

No difference in the exhaust manifold on the Super Six vs. one barrel. Exhaust PIPE diameter was different, not the exhaust manifold diameter.

Reed's correct. There is nothing such as a "Super Six exhaust manifold".

I was the second owner of a 79 Volare wagon with the Super Six. Was a low mileage car and I believe it had the original exhaust. It had the same exhaust manifold as any other slant and the head pipe was no bigger either (about 2 inch).
I ground my manifold out to 2 1/4" and had a 2/14 head pipe made up. It ran much better, not a rocket, but better.
