I'm thinking about getting the ProLineFuel.com Weber Carb setup. What happens to my Stove Choke (that's what it's called, right?)?? I have a 63 Valiant with a 170 and the 3 on the tree.. Joe |

Choke stove becomes a non-issue as these Webers are provided with electric chokes, just wire to a 12v ignition on source (ballast resistor is a good spot).....Dave |

I suppose you could install the manifold housing without the guts or linkage for appearances sake, personally wouldn't bother and just leave the well open. BTW checked out your site, been awhile since i've seen on of these dropped and its a good look on these valiants. Which Proline set up are you considering?...Dave

If your exhaust manifold is the later type with the stamped "cup" insert, you will have to bolt the assemble in place to prevent an exhaust leak. For the other types of "casted-in pocket" manifolds, you can leave the area open. DD

He has a kit that get's you an adapter from a single barrel to the double.. You get the adapter, the weber double & an air cleaner for $355. - I'm looking forward to the eletric choke... I'm hoping that it helps that it helps cold starts. Joe |

I'm leaning towrds the single for now also, except will use with a 2 barrel manifold that has had some work done to it....Dave

When I was running the original 1 barrel and intake, I could never get the choke cup to seal on the manifold untill amazingly I found some original asbestos gaskets at a few dealers. I wonder what it would sound like, assuming the engine would run, with the choke stove removed opening up the exhaust. |

Probably like my 63 - I run a straight pipe... no muffler, just 1 1/2" pipe straight back... sounds pretty mean. Joe |

How about dual 2 1/4 inch glass packs with driver side outlets, running off headers. LOUD. |
