I'm looking for the big bullet connector, as used on the 2nd lead of the + battery terminal on 70s-80s Mopars..... the "harness side"
I have a new + battery cable here already, that has the battery terminal end of this connector molded to battery terminal lug itself, just like OEM.... about a foot back, within the factory harness from this plug, there is a splice of 3-4 wires that all go to this lug......

Used up through at least 1995. Donno where to get it as a repair part, though, if you have to have the factory-style connector.

No probably don't "have" to, working on a mess of a wiring harness, have some to cut out and solder/heat shrink patches into, have thought about gettin an underhood fuse box out of something newer in the junkyard and wire that in and eliminate all of the fusible links.

Truth be told, I have never been a fan of that connector. True, most of the time it doesn't make the car not go, but it's kind of a rinky-dink design. Not waterproof, not very splashproof, the sleeve is prone to spreading open so it's no longer in tight contact with the prong…I think you can probably do better with a different type of disconnect.

I have had a couple that I have taped as "insurance" to be sure they wouldn't separate.... usually when the lock tab would break on the battery terminal side of that connector....

now that I have truck running (and stays running on its own) I'll figure out something.....

Ok maybe not the best idea, (that's one thing we put up with owning and fixing up old mopars) I wound up going to the junkyard and cutting a couple of them off there, got them off a Dakota, had longest ends beyond the terminal to work with
