On our 1975 Darts, we've been going through headlight switch failures due to poor/weak rivets in the spade terminals or broken rheostat coils. The brands we've used are Standard # DS-165T and BWD # S426. I think both come from the same factory in Taiwan. Does anyone know of sources for better quality switches?

my son went thru a bad streak like that in both his 90 and his 92 W250's..... todays parts aren't made like they used to be... try Ebay for something that comes from somebody's "old stock".

Yup, what Reed said. Call them on the phone if you don't have luck getting them by email. Putting in an old-stock American-made switch will end the mechanical failures. Do this to stop slow-roasting the headlight switch to death.
