Check the engine photo. Sorry if this has been posted here before, but it's the first time I've seen this. https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/ ... 56787.html |

a really nice wagon, Chrysler had long and short ram options on their high performance V8's from that era, so they were able to make them work. However fuel drop out and swings of lean to rich mixtures had to be an on going issue. In today's world put MPFI on those long rams (or a slant six Hyperpac) and have a unique and drivable intake. |

Yeah, that's someone's experiment, but not Chrysler's. The Hyper-Pak was Chrysler's long ram for the slant six. |

Cool. I think we've seen the engine pic before on this site. Agreed, not a factory setup, but you'll never see another one like it! Lou |

Great googly moogly. It hasn't sold before so now it's "RARE" and "EXPERIMENTAL". I dig the car, but that intake and the insane price kill it. I know that thing has been posted on here for at least 5 years. It was posted in the Race section in January. |

Oh, is that car up for sale again (or still)? Interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sZ0ZREBbts Underhood footage starts at 2:54. Sounds like it runs well, and looks like it was put together with skill and craftsmanship, but I sure don't want to be the one tasked with adjusting the valves unless I can charge on an hourly basis! As for the price: What do you think it should be listed at? Maybe $25K's insane and maybe it isn't; depends how badly someone wants the car. A comparably-kitted V8 car would have a much easier time selling at that price; the pool is much smaller of people interested in spending big bucks on a highly and skillfully customised 6-cylinder car. |

I just thought it was an interesting design, and appears well done. With efi, anything (within reason) can be made driveable. I've seen some interesting slant 6 intakes over the years, but not that one. That Spanish car is very cool. Wish they had built more of them. 18 makes it a bit too rare for a cat like me to afford. |

Yeah, cool Boulevard 3700... It would be neat to see all the different types of vehicles and apparati that the Slant has powered. There must be 100 different kinds of cars, then boats, airport tugs, forklifts, farm equipment... Lou |

I didn't think the price was out of line either. If the car runs, drives and is 8/10 or better; that's a pretty good value for someone who digs the style.

Notice how the '3700' refers to the engine size? Those wacky Europeans and their incomprehensible Metric system! If I was gonna buy a 1960 Plymouth (I am not), the only engine I would settle for would be the diesel, not some home-brewed intake Slant six. |
