Can someone point me to any information on how to adjust the wheel on a a904 transmission after rebuild? My car is a 65 dart with column shift. It will go through the pattern from park to one, but sometimes it just sets in gear when I go from one back to park. Like when I go from drive to reverse it feels like it is in neutral but then it will creep into reverse after a few seconds! Its just not right! I have seen several articles on how to adjust this but they dont make sense! I afraid of screwing it up worse... PLEASE HELP! A video on how to do this would be great. Anyone? |

There are several different reverse band apply linkage designs. They take different adjustment specs. |

Is this for a '65 Dart? (That's what's listed in your profile.) If so, hopefully someone can chip in with what the '65 FSM says. |
