Whats everybody’s opinion on the currently best available timing set? It seems that the Cloyes or Rollmaster roller chain sets are impossible to find, or, if anyone knows where to get them that would be great too. Thanks!

"JP Performance Engine Timing Set JP5613; Double Roller for Chrysler 225 Slant 6" is what I'm looking to get. I've heard folks say good things about those in this forum. I messaged EBay seller "performancepartsracing" a couple of weeks back; they expect to have them in stock again in a week or so. I think they're the same as performanceparts.com. I actually just emailed sales@performanceparts.com to ask about availability.

JP or rollmaster... essentially the same parts.

The bottom crank gears are tight.... use a bit of dremel work with a sandpaper roll before installing to open up the I.D. and use a Harmonic Dampner install tool or a press to install that lower gear.

Hey, I just called performanceparts.com. The JP set is on factory backorder, but they do have the Rollmaster CS5300 in stock for $110.

Rollmaster is my favorite. Good price @ $110.
