Air conditioning pulley... I have a 1966 Dodge Dart with a 225 without air or power steering. I just picked up a parts car with air and power steering. I want to transfer the air and steering. I know I need the pulley behind the damper. I removed the front pulley but one of the screw holes in the damper that is used to remove the damper is blocked with a broken screw. My question is about the difference in the front pulley and the pulley behind the damper. Are they interchangeable?

The pulleys are interchangeable with most SL6 dampeners.

There are 6 mounting holes total for the front and rear pulleys, each pulley uses 3 bolts with 120 degree spacing.
Is the "broken bolt" really just the end of one of the rear pulley mounting bolts? That pulley bolts-on from the rear.

Thank you Doctor Dodge. The bolt that is broken is one that was used to bolt the front pulley to the damper.

No, the front pulley for the PS is different then the rear pulley for the A/C

There seems to be a difference of opinion here. Does anyone have pictures of both pulleys off the damper?
Thank you

This is 100% correct. The rear pulley has a centering hole large enough to fit over the damper hub, the front pulley only has a hole large enough to fit
a crank bolt through the center if you desire to have one... if you have the damper off the motor it will become very clear.

You should also be equipped with a double water pump pulley as well to guide the A/C belt.

I think I have a spare AC pulley if you need one.

Thank you Dart270, I hope to drill out the hole for the puller today. If I can’t get it off, I will need one.
Thank you
